Functional Behavior Assessment

A Functional Behavior Assessment (FBA) is completed by a BCBA. This assessment is used to identify target behaviors and environmental factors. 

Behavior Intervention Plan

After the FBA is completed, a behavior intervention plan (BIP) is used to develop interventions to improve or decrease target behaviors.

Natural Environment Teaching

Natural Environmental Teaching (NET) is an ABA technique used to teach children in their natural learning environment to support generalization. NET can be used in play activities by using familiar items to maximize the child's motivation to continue play.

ABC Data Sheets

ABC data sheets is a tool used to gather important information regarding the child's target behavior(s). 

Antecedent: what occurs before the behavior

Behavior: the target behavior

Consequent: response that follows the behavior

Question About Behavioral Function

The QABF is an indirect assessment of 25 questions that is designed to assist the provider on identifying a hypothesis of the function of behavior. 

Additional Assessments

Additional assessments will be used on a case-by-case basis. These assessments are used to understand the need of the individual.
